Enter the figures you know. Your estimate updates as you type.

England only. Confirm eligibility and start dates before selecting a provision. This estimate covers 38 weeks with consistent attendance. Enter the childcare-only bill before funding and the hourly charge your provider removes for funded hours. The bill reduction is an estimate, not a cash payment or government reimbursement rate. Extras, stretched provision and separate support for eligible 2-year-olds are excluded. Check working-parent eligibility.

What this calculator covers

Compare universal 15-hour provision and 30-hour working-parent support in England, assuming eligibility has been confirmed.

The figures are designed to help families compare likely costs, support and remaining budget without needing to perform manual calculations.
